The first Italian 'Smart Working' Village was born in Santa Fiora

Do not give up your work but manage it in a new way, away from the chaos of big cities,make the dream of living come true, at least for a period, in a small mountain village.

 

 

This is possible in Santa Fiora on Monte Amiata, in the province of Grosseto, where, thanks to the recent arrival of the ultra-broadband band, the Municipality has launched the "Santa Fiora smart village" project, addressing the workers of Italy, through a tender with a financial endowment in total of 30 thousand euros, to cover 50% of the rent for those who want to live for a period of time in Santa Fiora and working remotely.

The notice published by the Municipality provides, in particular, for the provision of vouchers for those who will take up residence for at least two months in the municipal area of ​​Santa Fiora. The incentives paid will cover the expenses incurred by the worker for renting the house, up to a maximum of 50% of the expenses ocurred, for a monthly amount not exceeding 200 euros and for a duration not exceeding six months, if necessary extendable by the Municipality.
